The Teesside Flexible Investment Fund aims to support economic development in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees through a mix of finance to support buying a business, property funding and bond finance.

Using flexible packages of debt and equity the fund can provide funding of £250k to £3 million to finance:

  • Corporate acquisitions
  • Management buyouts
  • Management buy-ins
  • Buy-in management buyouts

The enterprise acquired by management much have a material presence in Teesside. In the case of a corporate acquisition, the acquirer and/or the target must have a material presence in Teesside.

Making an application

Before we can help you, you’ll need to provide us with the following:

  • A summary business plan
  • 2 years statutory accounts and up to date management accounts
  • Any available financial projections
  • CVs of key personnel in the company
