Joanne Whitfield

I am a director of FW Capital and I have overall responsibility for our investment, property development and portfolio management activities in the North East of England and Yorkshire.

I joined FW Capital in 2010, and I have a strong track record of making debt and equity investments in growing businesses.

I am an experienced investment professional having worked in venture capital since 2003. During that time, I have led investments into companies at all stages of development across a broad range of sectors, and I have backed many of the successful businesses based in the North East.

I studied Mathematical Engineering at the University of Leeds, and I am a qualified chartered accountant, having completed my training with Deloitte & Touche. Additionally, I hold the ICAEW Corporate Finance qualification.
