A disused hotel was transformed into homes and shops thanks to a six-figure investment from the North East Property Fund, which is managed by FW Capital.

The former Ryton Hotel, on Lane Head, Ryton, Gateshead had been empty since September 2016. The loan facilitated the conversion of the hotel into three two-bed apartments and three ground-floor retail units.

The funding secured the future of the historic local building and provided jobs to local tradesmen, while enhancing the Ryton area, and having a positive impact on the local community.
