The transformation of the former YHA Dufton site was completed with the opening of Redstones, offering stylish and contemporary accommodation.

Redstones was launched by entrepreneur Andy Barr of Barrnon Media, backed by a six-figure investment from NPIF II – FW Capital Debt Finance, managed by FW Capital as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II). The project also secured an additional six-figure loan facility from Barclays.

Boasting views of Dufton Pike and the village green in the picturesque Eden Valley, Redstones brought a vacant property back to life, creating local jobs and boosting the regional economy. The venue features 11 modern bedrooms and a cosy lounge; all nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated on the Pennine Way and the Cumbria Cycle Way, Redstones is ideally located near the historic market towns of Appleby and Penrith.
