Andy Traynor

I am responsible for providing loans to established SMEs in Lancashire and Cumbria from the £75 million NPIF II Debt Finance Fund – where we invest between £100k and £2 million.

Based in our Preston office, I understand the pressures SMEs face, and I have experience in structuring loans and mezzanine finance to support growth plans - which includes delivering the North West Fund for Loans Plus and the original Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

I am an experienced banker, and I joined FW Capital in August 2011. During my 37-year career, I spent 27 years in a range of roles at Barclays – with my last seven years in its Lancashire-based lending team, working with a range of SMEs in the manufacturing sector.
