FW Capital charity walk in aid of PCUK

On Thursday 14 March members of the FW Capital team will be taking on the 21 mile Preston Guild Wheel Walk. 

The team will be raising funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK, our Charity of the Year, in memory of our dear colleague Elaine Yarwood, who lost her battle with this dreadful disease in April 2023.

Pancreatic cancer is the UK's fifth biggest cancer killer. Currently 80% of people are diagnosed at a late stage and only 1% of diagnosed treatable people survive more than 10 years. PCUK are campaigning for a change in research, public and health professional education for early diagnosis and pioneering treatments to help save more lives in the future. 

At FW Capital, we have been working hard all year to raise vital funds and this sponsored walk is the team's last activity raising funds for this very worthwhile cause.
