Wedi ei gyhoeddi:
Kevin Goodall

FW Capital, one of the UK’s largest regional fund managers, has welcomed another recruit to its team focused on delivering finance to small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the  South West.

Kevin Goodall joins FW Capital as a Portfolio Executive and will be based at the firm’s offices at Broad Quay in Bristol. Kevin is an experienced finance professional with over 22 years in banking working as a relationship manager, with 13 years spent supporting businesses across the South West. He joins FW Capital from HSBC and prior to that worked at Allied Irish Bank (GB).

Kevin will be responsible for supporting the growing number of businesses in the South West that have received investment from the South West Investment Fund via FW Capital Debt Finance. He will also assist with the delivery of  funding from the South West Investment Fund to new clients.

David Goodall, FW Capital Fund Manager said: “Kevin has impressive finance credentials and brings a wealth of experience which complements our existing team. The expertise and understanding he offers will benefit the businesses he works with greatly as he helps them to achieve their potential. Kevin’s appointment bolsters our team further, following the recent appointment of Ben Donati and signals our commitment to supporting businesses with the South West Investment Fund.”

Kevin Goodall, Portfolio Executive at FW Capital added: “I’ve worked with SMEs across almost all sectors in my previous relationship manager roles and am looking forward to using my knowledge and expertise to work directly with local businesses, helping them with their growth plans. Some businesses have been unable to access funding from traditional high street lenders but using the South West Investment Fund funding FW Capital have been removing barriers to access finance. I’m really pleased to be part of a team which is delivering such a vital source of support.”

The South West Investment Fund covers the entire South West region and provides loans from £25k to £2m and equity investment up to £5m to help small and medium sized businesses to start up, scale up or stay ahead. Fund manager FW Capital provides debt finance using the South West Investment Fund to businesses in Bristol, Gloucestershire, North and North East Somerset and Wiltshire.

The purpose of the South West Investment Fund is to drive sustainable economic growth by supporting innovation and creating local opportunity for new and growing businesses across the South West. The South West Investment Fund is increasing the supply and diversity of early-stage finance for South West smaller businesses, providing funds to firms that might otherwise not receive investment and helping to break down barriers in access to finance.
