Eden Homes secured a six-figure investment from the North East Property Fund, providing momentum for an ambitious sustainable housing project in County Durham.

The new-build executive eco home developer used the funding to build Ascot House, a spacious, open-plan, EPC A-rated home. Located at Dunelm Stables in Thornley, the six-bedroom detached property combines premium finishes with environmentally friendly technology.

Features include an energy-efficient timber frame design, solar panels, an air source heat pump and underfloor heating. Together, these help reduce the home's carbon footprint and long-term energy costs, while delivering a high standard of modern living.
