Priority Space secured a £2.5 million funding package to support the completion of Hutton Court, a landmark commercial development at Consett Business Park, County Durham. Transforming a former colliery brownfield site, the scheme delivered 14 high-quality commercial units designed to meet growing demand from small and medium-sized enterprises across the North East.

Sheffield-based developer Priority Space led the project, which provided modern workspace ranging from 1,250 sq ft to 2,000 sq ft. The development offered high-specification accommodation with features including electric vehicle charging points, designated parking, modern loading facilities and energy-efficient design, which creates an attractive environment for growing businesses.

The project was supported through a £2 million loan from FW Capital via the North East Commercial Property Investment Fund, alongside a £500,000 incentive from the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority. Backed by North East Mayor Kim McGuinness, the investment brought a prominent brownfield site back into productive use, stimulating local economic growth and supporting the creation of new jobs in the region.
