St. James’ Central

The support from everyone at FW Capital has been brilliant, we are delighted to be working with them all and would highly recommend the North East Property Fund.

A new development of executive family homes in the historic village of Melkridge secured a seven-figure investment from the North East Property Fund, helping to bring sustainable, high-quality rural living to the heart of the Tyne Valley.

The residential scheme, known as Brooksfield, was developed by North East property developer Signal Construction, led by Managing Director Robbie Kalbraier. Funding was provided to Signal's sister company, St James' Central, through the North East Property Fund, which is managed by FW Capital and supported by the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority (North East MSA).

Brooksfield features a select collection of spacious four and five-bedroom homes, combining traditional design with modern, energy-efficient technology. The homes incorporate locally sympathetic stone and slate exteriors alongside Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), air source heat pumps, electric vehicle charging points and optional solar panels.

Set against the backdrop of the Northumberland countryside, the development offers generous living spaces and private gardens. The name Brooksfield pays tribute to the site's heritage, honouring the Brooks family, who owned the land for generations.
