FW Capital strengthens team with new appointment

Wedi ei gyhoeddi:
Jordan McGorrigan

FW Capital has expanded its operations with the appointment of a new Investment Executive.

Jordan McGorrigan has joined FW Capital’s team to support the delivery of the Tees Valley Catalyst Fund (TVCF).

Jordan will be responsible for helping businesses to access finance from the £10 million TVCF. He will work alongside fellow Investment Executive Alison Routledge to help businesses win new contracts by providing the finance needed to fulfil their bond requirements.

He will also work on the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF), which provides loans of between £100k and £750k to businesses based in the Tees Valley, Cumbria and North West of England.

Jordan has over 10 years’ banking experience.  He has held a number of roles with Barclays, including within the relationship team, supporting corporate business clients with turnover ranging from £10m to £50m.

He joins FW Capital from Allied Irish Bank, in Newcastle, where he worked as a Business Growth Manager, supporting SMEs with their funding requirements, in particular providing COVID support.

Jordan McGorrigan, Investment Executive at FW Capital, said: “I am delighted to join FW Capital as I am passionate about helping local businesses reach their full potential and the access to finance available from FW Capital allows for this to happen.

“Many businesses have just been through their most difficult period of trading due to the COVID-19 pandemic and some are still feeling the after-effects. Therefore, it is an essential time to liaise with those impacted so we can look to help them get back on track and continue with their growth aspirations.

“I’m really pleased to be part of the team and look forward supporting local SMEs.”

Joanne Whitfield, Fund Director at FW Capital, said: “We are really pleased to welcome Jordan to the FW Capital team. Jordan brings with him a wealth of experience and a real passion for helping the region’s SMEs access the finance they need to grow and succeed."
